**Thursday 25th July 2013**
Gosh, today's been another strange one. The weather where I was just couldn't decide what to do. One minute the sun was shining, then it looked like we were about to get a downpour. Next up came the strong wind and finally it went sunny again. We didn't know what to do with ourselves!
After breakfast we had a walk to my mums house so Stacey and Oscar could see her for a while and whilst we were there I used her computer to list some items I have for sale on eBay.
You're probably wondering why I don't use my own computer? Well, it's been acting up a bit recently and disconnecting from the Internet every few minutes (despite us supposedly having unlimited broadband, hmm). Occasionally, it won't come back on at all so I have to shut the whole thing down and leave it until it does come back on. It's not too bad writing blog posts with this problem as they automatically save every so often but sometimes my eBay listings don't save and I hate having to start over again.
I have rung my service provider on a number of occasions but they don't seem to want to do anything about it. I'm now considering moving to another provider, and keep looking at plusnet unlimited broadband as I always hear such good things about them.
Anyway, I digress!
When we got home Stacey and I headed into the kitchen to make fairy cakes. Now, I'm usually quite a good baker (sorry for blowing my own trumpet here) so imagine my disappointment when Stacey's cakes came out of the oven looking more like rock buns? *Big sigh*
We now have an old Cadbury's Roses Tin full of stodgy cakes that we can't even decorate because they're all manner of different shapes and sizes. My mum seems to think it's the weathers fault ... it usually is, but I think we're in need of a new oven. The one we have has always been a bit naff.
Anyway, once we'd finished baking Stacey decided to head out with some of her friends for a couple of hours before Nathan's mum and dad came to visit. Stupidly though, I forgot to put her some sun cream on today and I noticed when she got back home that her shoulders were a little burnt. Ouch!
I would love to hear what you guys have been up to today.
Thanks for reading.
PS: I forgot to encourage Stacey to plant her 'Grow Your Own Name' seed again! Someone remind me tomorrow? ;)
